From the Galapagos we left to cross the South Pacific
Ocean
We got some high waves we hadn't bargained for!
Breaking waves astern look ominous from the cockpit...
...as they build and peak...
...and threaten to break on us...
..before we shoot down the face fast and scoot out of
the way!
Bob did some fishing...
...but unfortunately a shark did his fishing first
We've been adopted by a pet gecko we've named
Li'l  Buddy
Most of the rest of the 25 day passage was a down wind,
lightwind, downwave run much of the time under
spinnaker
Sundowns at sea were unparallelled
After 25 days and nights--Land Ho!--we sight the
Marquesan island of Fatu Hiva
